How to use this page
Start with the core fields for every product. Add category-specific notes only when they help you choose. If a field will not change whether you buy, wait, or skip, keep it out of the main sheet.
Recommended row structure
These fields keep the sheet practical without turning it into homework. They also make it easy to compare FindsIndex results, seller pages, QC notes, and final buying decisions in one place.
| Field | What to write | Good short example |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Short name, seller, and source link. | "Black daily tote - seller A - link saved." |
| Category | Use one repeatable label such as clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, or electronics. | "Bags / work tote." |
| Use case | The job this item needs to do. | "Carry laptop, charger, notebook, and bottle for office days." |
| Evidence | Photos, measurements, variation details, QC references, reviews, or missing proof. | "Measurements shown; need real strap photo." |
| Total cost | Item price plus domestic shipping, international shipping estimate, fees, taxes, and likely add-ons. | "Item 42; estimated landed 68-78." |
| Main risk | The one problem most likely to make the purchase disappointing. | "Strap may be short over winter coat." |
| Alternative | The closest product that could beat this one. | "Seller B tote has better zipper but higher weight." |
| Status | Found, checking, maybe, wait, buy, or skip. | "Checking - need weight and return terms." |
Fields for common shopping notes
Different rows need different fields. A QC-heavy row needs evidence columns. A shipping-heavy row needs weight and route assumptions. A shoe row needs size evidence before price comparison.
| Source type | Fields to prioritize | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Shared sheet with QC photos | QC photo date, variation, measurement proof, seller evidence. | Keeps the row useful after the first product image stops being enough. |
| Shoe comparison row | Insole length, toe shape, outsole, fit comments, return tolerance. | Fit risk matters more than a small discount. |
| Clothing row from Weidian | Fabric, size chart, shoulder, chest, sleeve, length, care notes. | Clothing rows need measurements that can be compared across sellers. |
| Translated Taobao row | Translated product name, source link, seller notes, variation labels. | Translation makes the row readable later without losing the original source. |
| China shopping row | Source platform, agent route, total cost, shipping weight, customs risk. | Broad China shopping rows need cost and logistics context. |
| Shopping agent row | Agent fees, warehouse status, tracking stage, shipping estimate, final decision. | Useful when comparing a Litbuy agent with another shopping agent workflow. |
Core fields you should not skip
- Source link: Keep the product one click away for stock, price, and variation checks.
- Use case: Describe the real job the item needs to do, not only why it looks appealing.
- Evidence status: Mark whether the listing, photos, measurements, reviews, or QC references are enough.
- All-in estimate: Include shipping, taxes, packaging, required accessories, and the cost of getting the item wrong.
- Main concern: Write the reason you might regret buying it while the risk is still fresh.
- Closest alternative: Force every row to compete against something specific.
- Decision status: Use clear labels so the sheet leads to action instead of endless browsing.
Extra notes by item type
| Category | Add these notes | A good short note |
|---|---|---|
| Clothing | Fabric, fit, care label, season, measurements, size uncertainty. | "Cotton-linen, relaxed cut, machine wash; confirm sleeve length." |
| Shoes | Fit profile, outsole, insole length, break-in concern, walking use, return window. | "Wide toe box, rubber outsole, commute use; sizing still unclear." |
| Bags | Dimensions, capacity, laptop fit, strap drop, closure, empty weight. | "Fits laptop and charger; zipper closure; strap may be short over coat." |
| Accessories | Material, finish, hardware, skin sensitivity, pairing value, maintenance. | "Brushed steel finish, works with daily wardrobe; avoid if coating chips." |
| Electronics | Compatibility, voltage, plug type, ports, battery, warranty, software support. | "USB-C, compatible with laptop, check plug type and firmware." |
Status labels that stay clear
A short status list keeps the notes readable. Use "found" for raw links, "checking" while details are missing, "maybe" when the item is still in play, "wait" when price or timing is not right, "buy" when you are comfortable, and "skip" when it no longer makes sense.
Field quality checks
A good field is short, repeatable, and useful during the final decision. If a note cannot change whether you buy, wait, or skip, it probably belongs outside the main sheet. If a field keeps getting ignored, remove it or move it into a separate notes column.
Optional notes for careful buyers
QC photo date
Useful when you want to compare the listing against warehouse or inspection photos before shipping, especially for rows shared through Reddit, Discord, or Telegram.
Price check date
Good for items you are watching over several days, especially if the price moves often or a Litbuy coupon code changes the final landed cost.
Shipping weight
Worth adding when international shipping can change the final value more than the item price, or when you compare Litbuy shipping per kg against another route.
Reject reason
Write down why an item lost. It stops you from opening the same page again next week.
